I think i would throw my smart phone through that coffee shop's window.Also, I don't think that city councils are going to go to the effort of having heated park benches... The damn seat is going to be wet anyway, if its raining. And why can't a bench just permanently have a shelter over it? Seems like a waste of energy to have these "robot benches".

It's amazing how quickly the 'i' prefix becomes grating when seen in sequence like that, much like that 'amazing' montage on YouTube. I wonder how they'll evolve their product naming in the future - they can't hang on to that old horse forever. The OS cats are looking increasingly long in the tooth as well, I think Snow Leopard is the last time they'll be able to get away with it.

It's hard to grasp that Mars is an entire planet with varying regions. In part because it, along with every other planet we've photographed Mars looks so homogeneous and I think, because we've been fed this idea:Tatooine is all desertHoth is all iceDagobah is all jungleEndor is all forestWe will not fully realize that other planets are full, complete, complex worlds until it becomes routine for large numbers of us to visit the planets and sink our toes in the sand. We are primal beasts who need to experience to believe and yet are easily fooled by our own experiences.We have a long way to go.
