The question is if suppliers should have contracts with its buyers that require use of their product to the exclusion of competitor products. This is not only limited to CPUs. This goes across the board to sodas, etc. Big buyers like Walmart have the clout to push back, but small businesses are forced to take the higher cost charged them if they choose the non-exclusive route and become uncompetitive. This is one case where the government should get involved and promote competition by allowing all businesses to be able to carry all competitive brands of suppliers without penalty of not going exclusionary with only one supplier.
true, but for the record it's not exactly "off the strip" by the usual definition -- it's in California.he went there (presumably) because it's the closest indian casino to Los Angeles. though who really knew where he was hanging out and living these days. but yeah maybe he just wanted to go play some poker or slots after some golfing out in the desert (Palm Springs). it's nice he could step in and all. but next time just go to Vegas, Tim.

“Bah. I was hoping to build a new Win7 PC with an I7, SSD, and USB3.0 in 2010. I guess 2 out 3 is not bad. It just sucks I'll have to get a PCI card for USB 3.0. Hopefully the motherboard manufactures get it dine sooner than later. If AMD gets it together before hand, I might jump ship.

The loophole has been there since the 80's but it was only in the last few years that it started to be taken advantage of. And it was never really legal, it just wasn't illegal?
When a person must spend this much time fighting for his money rather than earning it, the incentives for making money become increasingly unproductive. Entire careers build up around understanding the ever changing mountain of tax laws passed each year. The naive would say 'but that is creating more jobs', but unfortunately it isn't; It's redirecting labor from where it would have otherwise been put to use in a more productive fashion. Not quite on topic I know, but I just got done reading how much corporate influence factors into our tax code and adds obfuscated exemptions to this growing monstrosity. I needed to vent. http://www.google.com/search?q=us+tax+code+number+ ... |

Get rid of share-folder based p2p. That's what people are being sued by the RIAA for. "Making available." Nobody has been busted for using a torrent yet.
