I have been saying they should do this for half a decade.They would get a nicer core to their OS. They could ditch their disproved security model and give up modding it into one that works. Go look at the number and size of the current botnets, worms, and virus infections that are spreading.Other operating systems have a Unix or Unix-like core now. Apple and Linux have proven that Unix-like operating systems can work out fine in the home and the office - and schools & labs too.Windows and the original Mac OS X were designed decades ago. It was a different time. They both had some goofy stuff in them. Windows still has a lot of the thinking from that era. Apple stripped the last of their 1980's and 1990's era original Mac OS code out years ago.No commercial company or open source company has been able to wrest control of Windows PCs from malware authors and get it back firmly in the hands of users. Better to drastically change the platform than let malware crooks dramatically change its population.

That's exactly what it is. They say you have "choice" or you can play the game and "make your own story" or whatever.. but it's really just option A, B or C that all go down paths that eventually lead to D anyway.. most of the time. Despite all the "choice" the designers seem to suggest you have, you basically end up playing the same game, same story as everyone else..

Violence, sex and money. Can't help humans enjoy such material in their lives. We are only human. Even thought history tells of how violence, sex and money is part of our lives. Video games just make it easier to access such things in the comfort of your home. As for as a project that was conducted, its easier to thrill the urge for violence when factors such as: not knowing who the person is on the other side and respawning. Taking violence out of video games will do nothing. Can't we just say that we all naturally violent and some people can control it more then others??
Of course I am being sarcastic but.... I live out west.
