| Hey Republicans, how's that old "deregulation" working for you?Perhaps you should try something sensible like sound regulation, and pro-active tax policies that promote healthy, diversified, domestic industries. Make the deregulated criminal types in suites actually take responsibility for their actions and provide carrot and stick incentives that promote job growth (that is good paying jobs, not more minimum wage, food-stamp inducing jobs). Conservatives tend to become...well, more conservative and less rational when they see their disastrous policies running the nation into the ground and blame other "boogie men" like the working poor for the monsters they create. |

There are three kinds of Americans. Those that are good at math and those that aren't.
Goodness gracious those are some beautiful freakin' titties. Motherhood has done good to her.

“I know resistive screens are good for and since the Western market isn't that interested in using Hiragana or whatever. Eastern markets like resistive, almost everyone in the Western markets wants capacitative. I was saying that Nokia should release a different one for each market, not just choose one for both.Who on earth uses handwriting for the English alphabet? I used to have a HTC Himalaya and it takes ages compared to using a keyboard. And as far as fingerprints, most companies are now working out oil resistant screens. If anyone needs the other so bad they can import it with little fuss.

I'm not sure that being a Luddite dumbass is constitutionally protected right.?
Disappointing! I'm watching it now and it's amazing - great characters, drama and very high production values. |

So I like FlashForward. It's not the greatest thing ever, but I find it pretty enjoyable. I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone that wasn't a big sci-fi fan.Still, I guess I'm always surprised how people want to make a claim about how a show is objectively bad. As if there's never been something they liked that someone else didn't call out as having "bad acting" and "boring characters". I don't enjoy some 99% of television programming, but someone obviously does and I don't see any point in my trying to point out why they're wrong. Or visa versa.I guess the part of it that bugs me is this idea that everything needs to appeal to me or it's flawed. Only something that works for everyone should be made. This sucks for me because I tend to like things that most people don't like. I actually joke about having a death-touch... any show that I dig is almost surely going to get cancelled (Firefly, Conviction, Daybreak, Sarah Connor Chronicles, etc...). I'm shocked Fringe is still on.I just wish someone would figure out how to make and market a show for the 20% or so of people who don't dig what's in the mainstream. FlashForward is one of those shows, and there are surely a few million people who like it (even if the author of this piece doesn't). Is that really proof that it sucks? Or that it shouldn't exist?

well, he didn't let those guys rot. he negotiated for their release and when the negotiations fell through, he sent an armed rescue mission. there are still a lot of people trying to figure out why the hostages were turned over to reagan so fast.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran_hostage_crisishttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/October_surprise_cons ...
