Obama could have *had* it better to. We dumped the man in darn near the worst situation possible.
Where the hell is my jet-pack?

“Uh yeh, I'm a Brit and Tenzing was always as famous as Hillary, so I think "global anonymity" in the article is a bit rich.

Phillies got beat by a better team this week. They're not going anywhere though/.
It's clear they didn't read a lot of these. The Myst Books kicked major ass. I'd never get down on a novel for being, *gasp* descriptive. Besides, it fleshed out a great back story that the video game barely covered.!

I downloaded the CAM, took a look and liked the movie, so now I have it on Blu Ray. I cant understand why the MPAA only cares about cinemas. Its like meat only being sold to restaurants and not consumers.Maybe the age of the cinema is over? How about launching movies on both HD and Cinema at the same time, so we can choose. Its not about piracy, but about availability. iTunes got quite a hold on my wallet and I have no problem with that.

How is that not what the article is saying? It says people are depressed and it's the body's way of fixing what's wrong.. therefore there is a reason they're depressed and their body is trying to get them to deal with it. How is that different than what I said? So ok, fine.. I'll agree pills don't make you happy, but they make you less sad.. you're just arguing semantics at this point. But you can't honestly think that all of the people out there who are diagnosed with depression are getting the proper form of treatment by a prescription. FTA " depression is not something to be thrown out lightly." Lightly is exactly how it seems to be treated these days. Go to your general practitioner and tell them you've been feeling down for a while and you'd like to explore the avenue of antidepressants.. I guarantee they'll whip out that pen and paper and send you to the pharmacy. Now that's not to say that you're not right as well.. and I suppose I came across as too "one sided" in my comment.. I agree some people do have brains that probably make them more likely to be depressed and those people should be dealt with in a different manner than those who do not.. It just seems to me that there is a blanket treatment for depression no matter what the cause... That just ain't right, Skippy. |
