This is a FANTASTIC idea. We're constantly subsidizing the lower class, and this is more of an "investment" than a "handout".

I think all the problems that happened in production actually helped the pilot. Having to cram a lot of story into the first 4 or 5 episodes means that things actually happen and the story moves forward, unlike Flashforward where absolutely nothing happens.?
An eighteen wheeler spins out of control and its all like BRAACSH! And this huge tanker full of giros goes CRASHHH BRASH WRHASHSThose aren't ideas. Those are special effects. |

Paramount and their ilk are stupid. Their customers aren't leaving just because of the price. Sure, free is great, but most of their customers are leaving DVDs on the shelves because a quick, easy download of a file that works on virtually any computer or handheld device is a BRILLIANT distribution method.The way to win the game is not with legislation or regulation but through innovation. They just have to setup a web site better than what's out their now, charge a fair price and ditch DRM. The customers are making it obvious what they want. Give it to them and profit.

Until it was pointed out by every media outlet in the country, how many people do you really think made the connection that is was a black man with a white woman? It was meant to play up his "playboy" lifestyle. The media gave the general public way too much credit on this one. People do not conduct in-depth analysis of commercials when they are sitting on their couch at night.

People have children intentionally for the government support. I was walking to the store one day and over heard a conversation between two young lower class mothers. One who was pregnant tells the other something along the lines that her second kid will get her an extra "X" amount of money per month from the government. This was Jersey City NJ. Some what of a ghetto in parts. |
