Besides the fact that this guy is an idiot (not because he doesn't want to vote using a computer - he stopped voting in the general election because of the electoral college) I thought most states had laws that made it mandatory to make it possible for people who didn't want/couldn't use a computer to utilize a paper ballot. In fact I thought it was a legal requirement. What if all the computers on election day broke down? There wouldn't have been an election? At the end of the day, he was still stupid because he didn't end up voting on a computer because there was no other option.

Not entirely unusual in China (which is what these parents are, clearly). Only recently has there been any advocacy for mentally disabled people in China; traditionally they are treated more like animals. If they aren't good for the gene pool they aren't worth much of anything, is the thinking. It's getting better now, but old habits can be hard to break I guess. :-(
