Too bad that map shows "total coverage" and not just 3G. for 3G view you have to click on a state or region to display what city/town's have full 3G coverage.
Saw part of the wall at the Winston Churchill Memorial in Fulton Missouri...didn't think in my lifetime (50) I'd see it fall, but old Ronnie "got er done".Socialist in the USA probably shed a tear when it came down, but too bad. Freedom is a natural state of being.

This article misses the point by a mile. As long as the others are trying to make "an iPhone killer" or mimic it they will never be successful. Want to make something decent, start fresh, start with something new. Apple did that and look where they are now. Pretty sure that Dirty Dick's was intentional and not unfortunate considering they have a huge merchandising line and are located in a huge tourist area. That and there's Try My Nuts nearby.

A) ISPs do put security on their modems, and B) It seems the modems being hacked are owned by the group who's hacking them, not some random ISP.Assuming these modems aren't DOCSIS compliant, it's almost certainly a violation of your contract to hook up one of these modems to the cable network (and if you haven't signed a contract it's probably illegal to hook anything up to the cable network). It *should* be a contract thing, I don't know if it's actually illegal, but if it is, it's *****. There are plenty of legitimate uses for hacked cable modems; from using it as an embedded server to playing around with the transceiver.

Actually, there is something to it; one of the big reasons the Dems won so many seats, and why Mr. Obama won by such a huge margin is that they weren't W. (despite the fact that if you actually look at it, neither was McCain. I may have to spot you Palin, though) |
