Because when Bush was in office there were totally no political metaphors made about his administration in every other show...that said... for me, there was no point in this show where I thought to myself, "hey, that sounds like something obama-ish". Get over yourself mr senior editor at a news website no one cares about.
allanon, what shows/channel? I haven't caught any of these commercials yet.

I love the god-view camera. I've tried Torchlight since yesterday and they did a great job of it. Although the camera doesn't rotate I never have any trouble keeping up with my avatar any underlings. I wish the game had some, *any* kind of multiplayer, but it's a lot of fun so far regardless..
Want an app that plays "The price is right losing horn"? on command, there is not an app for that.!

She doesn't look bad at all in the after pics, dude. Fine, the doctor went overboard on the boobs. But she's hot as hell. What don't you find attractive about her in the after pics?

I'd rather be RICH and miserable than POOR and miserable... but I'd rather be poor and happy than either. The thing is, the human condition is misery - and it *is* a lot easier to deal with misery with money... so playing the odds, rich and unhappy is probably the best you can hope for. It is easier to forget how much life sucks when the seat-heater in your Escalade is warming your ass, than it is when your 1987 Plymouth Reliant has a window that doesn't roll up, a bad heater core, and it is 20 degrees F outside. I think the "loss hope" thing is misleading, though. Apathy is what makes a person "happier" with their condition. I had a friend once, his wife was cheating on him with EVERYONE around him. He was the happiest guy in the world until he found out and couldn't let go. At some point, he did, though - "***** it", became his general attitude - and he became far more satisfied with life almost instantly. Ever have a friend who drives a piece of crap car, but he just doesn't CARE? How about the guys in high-school who didn't fit in anywhere, but didn't WANT to? Yeah... this is the "I Don't Give a *****" factor. Give science it's Captain Obvious cap. |
