If NASA had the same proportion of funding as it did when we went to the moon we would be colonizing those planets by now.I mean come on who doesn't want to travel in space.
Thought this article had some nice pics of the Alex/Nook:http://www.slashgear.com/?s=barnes+and+noble+nook A 2d image of a device is nothing compared to an image of someone actually holding/using a device so you can see exactly how big it really is. The side-by-side comparison is nice as well so you can see just how much bigger the touch screen is. I think adults are going to lean towards the larger reading screen because that is the whole reason they are buying it (to be an eBook), but Spring Design might snap up the people that want more of a versatile eNotebook.I can't say anything about whether B&N stole the idea from Spring Design, but if they did I hope Spring Design gets the Nook scrapped and a good chunk of money. I think they might have a tough time considering how different in design the two devices are, but I'll be keeping an eye out for updates.

Now I'm going to change my voice to sound more reasonable and make it appear as if my words have been backed up with genuine thought....
Not long ago a group of Midwest teenagers decided to hack their cable modems and were surprised when the FBI showed up to confiscate all their computer equipment, They were criminally charged by the ISP and FBI under the DMCA for all the modified cable modems AND pirated software found on their computers. There's plenty of information out there on how to do it, just be aware that your opening yourself to a world of criminal charges if your caught.!

They shouldn't have let Gaudin do anything but relief work against right-handed batters. Burnett on short rest wasn't an optimal choice, but it was the best choice the Yankees had because the drop off from 1-3 and 4-5 is a really big one. Bigger than Burnett on full rest compared to Burnett on 3 days rest.I see what you're saying, but the Yankees just didn't have a viable #4 against the Phillies. If it was against the Cardinals (a very right-handed lineup), you would have a much stronger point.

Also, he's not a ***** Luddite:"there have been problems with the computer voting system since its exception. There haev been probelms in national elections where the votes have been changed. KPFT Pokey Anderson has been doing reports on the problems with computer voting for a while now. I dont think my vote will serve justice using the computer system I wanted to know whatas wrong with having both ways of voting. I ended up being told that I had to bring it up with my state rep. As was told to me the state has made it so that voting by paper ballot is all but eliminated.."It's a perfectly logical and reasonable response. Without a paper readout I wouldn't vote on an computerized voting machine either. |
