That's what I said. When I said server, I was actually thinking along the lines of running, say, a print server from a cable modem the same way I currently run a print server off of a hacked wifi modem. Not something connected to the internet, since you're better off getting a private host for a web server. As for playing with the transceiver, I just thought it'd be neat to play around with building your own cable network, see how it works; if you live in a university dorm or something you could maybe build your own wide-area-network. Maybe you could adapt the transceiver for other uses too, set up an antenna and send/receive high-frequency RF waves, et cetera.Actually connecting a hacked cable modem to an ISP-owned cable line would almost certainly be a violation of your contract, a pretty pointless risk to take. If your internet is too slow, pay the extra ten bucks a month and get a faster connection, jeez.!

Do you think there would have been people marching in the streets of Tehran chanting pro American slogans even just a year ago?His attempts to court Iran has clearly worked on the Iranian people. I agree with the price point. If they are whining and suffering from the lack of singles issues, then there has to be a reason for it. Odd enough, I doubt they aren't complaining about their graphic novel sales which probably have skyrocketed. Meaning there is no use for me to pay that much money per single with ads (unless its an indie book I like) for the storyline than compiling it using better materials that age and no ads. THere are some 'fun' marvel books. Runaways is still a very strong title with a good story. But yeah I agree the whole universe (not the ultimate) is pretty dark rife with political intrigue. The X-books have been meh as of late as well. Deadpool is great in dosage because sometimes they really screw him up. Overall, they do have to focus on the other medias to portray their products. They have to adapt but also be endearing to its audience as well. |
