| They have been doing this at Sandia National Labs for quite some time now.. I also believe that the Spanish solar tower works on the same principle. |

If we ever hear of a serial killer knocking off goth kids, I'll know who my number one suspect will be.
Who would have thought that? .. Sarcasm is the only possible comment.

“*Sigh*. I wish we had some boring guys to run for our president. Then maybe we'd have universal health care, universal education, no crime, no poverty, little pollution, a functioning infrastructure, and tall healthy happy children....Oh, and better public transportation, too. :)

I have been a premier executive on United for 3 years and i fly its first or business class domestically 90% of the time. I can attest from my personal experience UA flight attendants do not deny service to people based on what they wear. I have worn and seen people wearing shorts/t-shirt flip-flops in premium cabins ALL the time. There are bad apples at every airlines, but to say this is an UA policy is sensationalistic..
Mr. Rogers only wore a cardigan.!

God rest his soul.?
Being amazing in bed isn't one of the most manly things in the universe? This highly disappoints me. |

Most Americans eat WAAAY more meat than we're supposed to eat anyways, a serving of meat is about the size of a deck of playing cards and we're supposed to have 2-3 a day. For example, 1 Sausage Egg and Cheese croissantwhich from Burger King is more protein than any normal person needs in a day. I often see people wolfing down 2 of these in 1 sitting.

read what the description says:The Pole shift hypothesis is not to be confused with geomagnetic reversal, the periodic reversal of the Earth's magnetic field (effectively switching the north and south magnetic poles). Geomagnetic reversal has more acceptance in the scientific community than pole shift hypotheses. The Pole shift hypothesis is almost always discussed in the context of Earth, but other bodies in the Solar System may have experienced axial reorientation during their existences. The theory says that the outer crust of the Earth has moved several times in the past and would move in the future, just as the loosely peeled skin of an orange (or avocado) could be slid around the stationary inner fruit.Charles Hutchins Hapgood (1904 – December 1982) was an American academician, and one of the best known advocates of the Pole shift theory. Based primarily on accepted, technical data, Hapgood argued that each shift took approximately 5,000 years, followed by 20,000 to 30,000 year periods with no polar movements. Also, in his calculations, the area of movement never covered more than 40 degrees. Using geomagnetic and carbon dating evidence, he identified the locations of the pole and its paths. (see image!) - However, in popular literature, many theories have been suggested involving very rapid polar shift. So, while debate continues on the speed at which the poles have changed, the fact of their shift seems well established. It also appears that the shift will continue, as it likely has for millennia, as part of a cycle we are just now beginning to understand. In 1958 Hapgood published his first book, The Earth's Shifting Crust in collaboration with James H. Campbell, a mathematician and engineer. Here we find a foreword by Albert Einstein shortly before his death: "His idea is original, of great simplicity, and if it continues to prove itself of great importance to everything that is related to the history of the earth's surface. I think that this rather astonishing, even fascinating, idea deserves the serious attention of anyone who concerns himself with the theory of the Earth's development.""Shifting North Pole" data is from:www.viewzone.com/changingpoles.html+ www.crystalinks.com/crustal.html

Eh, give it a few months. Once they start smoking all that legal pot they're not going to care who gets married to what as long as there's a reception.

People of NJ would have voted Dem if Corzine hadn't sought re-election and another Dem took his place....We'll see how it goes when Christie comes up for re-election.... Who knows maybe he'll do a good job - but his string will be short. |
