Some of Darwin's ideas are wrong, but that doesn't discredit the Theory of Evolution in any way. There were things unbeknown to Darwin at the time, such as the Neutral Theory of Molecular Evolution, protein analysis, biochemical analysis, comparative genetics, etc. but all of those principals further support his main assertions and arguments to evolutionary theory.
