It's not only the US which is threatened by Islamic terrorism, nor is it only the US which has an interest in increasing their influence in the Middle East (I'm not seeing either reason is right, that's just way it is). And FYI our contribution is not at a "low level". There are 10 000 British troops fighting in Afghanistan compared to the US's 85 000, in other words an equal proportion of each countries' total active military personnel (about 5%).

I didn't see anything amazing but some of the pictures really show how to make a rat make funny facial expressions and rub their eyes by spraying them with caustic substances.I must say though, the partly purple rat was pretty interesting but not amazing since some idiot spray painted it and even got some in it's eyes.The amazing thing is that someone would post this..

Boohoo. I'm tired of hearing about how teachers should supposedly be making so much more money, and I say this while thinking about some of the worthless pieces of crap who I had to listen to growing up. We need choice in education. This will lead to better salaries.

I never got to have the feel of it until recently. My girlfriend and I were tinkering with her 4 inch diameter telescope on my driveway out in the boonies where I live. I decided to point it at the brightest object I could find. When I focused I couldn't believe what I saw.MOTHER ***** JUPITER. IN MY DRIVEWAY.The planet that I've done all this reading about. It seemed so close that I could see it with such a relatively small amount of magnification. I could make out the Galilean moons orbiting it. There it was, a giant sphere just hanging up there for all the world to see and I had absolutely no idea what it was 5 minutes prior. The next fall (this fall), I changed my major to Astrophysics and have loved it every step of the way so far.
